As this position is a summer temporary job, we wish that you are available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

As a guard on a stationary security assignment, your main task is to deliver security to one of our international clients by being attentive and ensuring that everything is in order. You will be the face of the company when working at the entrance or reception and checking the people who pass in and out. As a guard, patrolling will be done on foot or by car, both indoors and outdoors, day and night.

You will for example:

• Conduct security checks at our clients' locations, such as ensuring alarms are activated, windows are closed, etc.
• Ensure that no unauthorized persons are present among our clients' operations and premises.
• In a stationary security assignment, there are various types of technical assistance depending on the client, e.g., alarm panels for operational alarms and fire alarms. In some security assignments, it is common to have surveillance cameras and remote control of gates and doors.

The assignments vary depending on the client.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their everyday lives. As a guard for our international client, you will become part of a close-knit team. The length of work shifts varies, but is often 12-hour shifts either day or night. It is common to work every other weekend.

"The best part of my role is when I can help the client and leave a positive impression. It is incredibly rewarding to feel that your work is appreciated. A typical day means that I work in a stationary position, where I handle both reception duties and respond to alarms. We also have other assignments in the area, such as traffic monitoring, guiding, and patrolling. I was most positively surprised by how friendly the people are when we meet them, and how much they truly appreciate what we do.”

Requirements

Requirements

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B

It is an advantage if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have a civilian or military security guard training

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work tempo. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you as an applicant are an independent person and trust your own abilities, quickly understand problems and solve them creatively. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• The position is a need-based employment with start in May/June. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
• Working hours may vary; we work around the clock.
• You will replace regular staff during the holiday periods, which is why it is essential that you are available for work between weeks 25-33.
• For training, you must be available during the day for 2 weeks (9 weekdays)

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
